Balnarring Medical Centre is a Private billing clinic and full payment of your account is required on the day of consultation. Our doctors aim to provide quality healthcare to you and your family. To practice good medicine, we allow enough time for a thorough consultation. We endeavor to keep costs low whenever possible. Script, and results telehealth appointments and child immunisations will be bulk billed

Standard consultation - Face to face or telephone (fees as of July 2025)

Saturday standard consult fee $110

Consumable (Dressing) Fees

Wound clinic

Our clinic runs a wound clinic that is funded by SEMPHN grant.

The wound clinic supports the dressing costs, so there is no charge for dressing if booked in the Wound Clinic which is held on Wed PM and Friday AM.

Private Fees Will be applied for Dressings outside of Wound Clinic

$25.00 - Consumable Fee

$50.00 - Consumable Fee if procedure performed at other GP clinic, specialist rooms or hospital

Workcover and TAC:

Private fees are generally charged for all consults relating to Workcover and TAC. Please take your receipt as evidence of payment for reimbursement to your employer or your Workcover insurer or TAC. The rebates for Workcover and TAC do not cover the cost of your consultation, therefore accounts are generally a matter between you as the patient and your employer, or between you and Workcover/TAC insurer.

Cancelling Appointments/ Non Attendance Fee

If you no longer require your appointment, please call our reception team at least two hours prior to cancel. Another patient can make use of the time. Failure to do so may incur a non attendance fee of 50% of your consult

Minor Procedures

At Balnarring Medical Centre we offer minor procedures. These consultations are privately billed for all patients. There will be an out of pocket cost associated with this service for which you will receive a Medicare rebate. Your doctor will speak to you regarding the fee when the procedure is being organised for you.
